Refund policy

Last updated 2026-09-23. Draft — to be reviewed by a qualified person before public launch. Not legal advice.

Paid plans are not on sale yet

Hindsight is free during the beta and nothing is charged today. This page describes how refunds will work once a paid plan launches, written ahead of time so it can be reviewed before that happens.

14-day money-back guarantee

Once a paid plan is available: if you are not happy with your first subscription purchase, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of that purchase.

Cancel anytime

You will be able to cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period — see the guarantee above for that.

Who processes refunds

Once paid plans launch, payments will be processed by Paddle.com, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the checkout, invoicing, and any applicable sales tax/VAT, and issues any refund we approve back to your original payment method. We never see your card number.

How to request a refund

Contact us through the Discord server linked on the site with your account details and the date of the charge, and we’ll pass the request on for processing.

EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may separately have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For a digital subscription you start using right away, that right can end early once you’ve asked us to begin the service and confirmed you understand you are giving it up — Paddle’s checkout will collect that confirmation once paid plans launch. Nothing here limits any right the law gives you.
